New Book

I have been busy although I haven't posted for a while.Hence the long gap between 2011 and 2014. I have been ill for over a year which is part of my excuse. But, I am now back working again and have been for the last six months. I have mostly been illustrating books, a few card designs and more ornament designs. I shall put some of them up on my next blog. But I wanted to show that I have decided to self publish a book written and illustrated by me using blurb.com. It is a simple book with now many words but, I hope the illustrations make it what it is. Here is a link to it here.

Lily & Mo

Hi There,
 I haven't  posted for a while. Mainly due to being ill. But, I am working again and still doing book illustration among other things. It's good to be back painting. I love my work and miss it when I'm not drawing and painting. 
          
 This is Lily and Mo, my characters in colour. It has been a while since I have blogged and there are other colours of these characters on my website. I had ideas of writing a book for these characters with a green or recycling theme. I like the idea of some story with them growing vegetables in a garden or allotment and using the story to teach young children about growing your own food to eat. I thought it would be very current and might make a good series of books.
So,Ii'll have to put my thinking cap on for some stories!
